Dear Friend,
If you're anything like me, you've had some things come easy, and other things come difficult. You've learnt a bit about yourself, whether you are gentle and meek, or tough and cantankerous. You have come to know what you like and what you don't, what scares you and what excites you. You have come a long way, but still sometimes it feels like you are yet to scratch the surface.
I know that feeling very well. And whenever the thought of "more, just wanting more out of life" comes to mind, I remember the scripture that says "He has set eternity in our hearts" (Ecclesiastes 3:11). There seems to be a never-ending sea of gifts and treasures God has placed inside of us. And what an exciting journey we take when we start to discover these gifts.
What has been your story, Friend? Are you feeling emptiness or excitement? Boredom or bustle? What answers is your heart seeking right now? What deep yearnings and desires is God trying to awaken inside of you? If I was there with you right now, I will hold your hand and encourage you to let go. Give it all over to God, and see what He can do with the desires of your heart. After all, He put them there.
Awaken your hopes and dreams. There's a gap you need to fill, and it starts with you waking up to the treasure inside of you!
2 Corinthians 4:7 NIV
But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
Truly yours,
M.
